The EKI-7626C from Advantech Corp., Industrial Automation Group, Cincinnati, OH, is an unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch with sixteen 10/100Base-TX fast Ethernet ports and two 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet ports. The Gigabit combo ports support both copper and optional SFP modules for fiber-optic connections. Features include a rugged metal DIN-rail mount chassis, 4000 VDC Ethernet ESD protection, power-line surge protection of 3000 VDC, dual 12–48 VDC power inputs for redundant power configurations, a built-in fault relay, and operating temperature range of –10°C to 60°C. Each Ethernet port has status LEDs.
