The IP68 Underwater DAQ Sensor from ATI Industrial Automation, Apex, NC, is a force/torque sensor for use in freshwater underwater environments to a max. depth of 10 m. Nitrile and silicon O-rings assure that no water enters the units. Five models are available: Delta with a range to 5.8 lb., Theta with a range to 20 lb., Omega 160 with a range to 16 lb., Omega 190 with a range to 29 lb., and Omega 250 with a range to 70 lb. All units have sealed SS bodies, rugged lemo connectors, and have been tested at the Naval Surface Warfare Center.
