The LV-MaxSonar-WR1 detects objects from 0–254 in. and provides sonar range information from 12 in. out to 254 in. with 1 in. resolution; objects from 0–12 in. from the device range as 12 in. Interface output formats include pulse width, analog voltage, and serial digital. Other features include a compact, robust PVC housing that meets IP67 ratings, a –40°C to 85°C operating temperature range, and mounting that matches standard ³/₄ in. pipe fittings.
