Groomed for checking bulk solid or liquid levels, the RPS-409A-2P ultrasonic sensor measures distances ranging from 3 in. to 144 in. and is tightly sealed in a PVC housing that’s threaded for easy mounting in a 2-in. NPT opening. A model that fits 1.5-in. NPT openings is also available. The sensor includes short circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, and temperature compensation. If set points are required, control products are also available. Models offer three different distance ranges: 3 to 40 in., 6 to 80 in., and 10 to 144 in. Each range can be ordered with either a 4 mA to 20 mA analog current output or 0 to 10V analog voltage output.
