The NUS-4 ultrasonic level transmitter is designed for non-contact, continuous level and volume measurement in vessels or for flow measurement in open channels. Level measurement technology based on the non-contacting, ultrasonic principle suits applications where, for any reason, no physical contact can be established with the surface of the media to be measured. Examples of such applications for the NUS-4 might include corrosive attack by the process media against the measuring device material (acids), possible contamination (sewage) or particles of the process media adhering to the measuring device (adhesive materials).
