The sensor measures liquid levels to 32.8 ft. and bulk solids to 16 ft. with blanking distances of <1 ft. Standard output is 4–20 mA; an SPDT relay can be used to activate alarms and pumps. The device uses Variable GAP technology to achieve accurate measurements in narrow vessels and operation in the presence of dust, vapor, or foam. Features include an electronic filter to remove ambient noise; an integrated display for detailed data, trends, and echo profiles; and an adjustable threshold.
