Cole-Parmer, Vernon Hills, IL, offers its Ultrasonic Hybrid flowmeter that measures fluid flow using either the Doppler or transit-time method, allowing you to use the meter with almost any fluid that can conduct sound waves. Features include DSP, cross-correlation signal analysis, and a proprietary goodness-of-measurement algorithm to ensure accurate and reliable measurements. Three models are available: local display and full configuration; local display but no configuration; and no display or configuration capabilities. All models feature RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, and USB communications, a 500,000 event data logging capability, the ability to write data to a removable SD 32 MB memory card, and a noninvasive transducer that works with both clean and dirty fluids.
