The Series UXF3 from Dwyer Instruments Inc., Michigan City, IN, is an ultrasonic flowmeter converter that is paired with either Series SX1 or SX2 sensors to use the transit-time method to measure fluid flow. The flowmeter can be configured from the front keypad and is suitable for liquid flow measurements for pipes from 0.5 in. to 19.5 ft. dia. Accuracy is within ±1% of the flow rate. The UXF3 also provides resistance against aerated flow such as sludge, raw sewage, and bubble-contained flow.
