Ultra Electronics, 3eTI Introduces UltraVision

ROCKVILLE, MD -- Ultra Electronics, 3eTI, a leading provider of military-grade, cyber secure network solutions for critical information systems, infrastructure and industrial automation, announces UltraVision Spectrum Manager, a proactive monitoring tool for the radio frequency (RF) spectrum. Spectrum Manager offers a unique application designed to intelligently monitor the RF spectrum at the physical layer and immediately alert IT managers to interference. Spectrum Manager is the newest addition to 3eTI's portfolio of UltraVision solutions, providing the ultimate level of operational wireless infrastructure availability for improved situational awareness, command, control and communications.

With its network-centric topology, Spectrum Manager monitors for RF interference within an area of interest by performing intelligent analysis of emissions. The tool uses strategically positioned spectrum sensors with innovative antenna arrays that relay data back to a central monitoring display with geographic overlays. The data then allows personnel to localize the origin of the interference using a management console or mobile unit.

"Spectrum Manager provides a networked solution that monitors a broad segment of the spectrum (10 MHz to 6 GHz) to display both in-band and out-of-band emissions that would interfere with our customers' communications within their area of operations," says Benga Erinle, President of 3eTI. "In addition to spectrum monitoring, Spectrum Manager will locate the position of the interference and provide an intelligent analysis to determine whether the interference is spurious, such as an energy surge or simple noise, or a targeted attack with destructive intent."

UltraVision Spectrum Manager will be available in Q2 2013.
