U.S. News: Sensor Data on TV

U.S. News and World Report's Best of the Web feature (December 5, 2005) speculates on the Internet's future, saying that it will "melt into our surroundings. We won't speak of accessing the Web any more than we speak of accessing . . . the electric power grid."

Even today's most prominent Web sites will become invisible, delivering only the information you care about: "Some will be highly personal: The news from MSN might be that a sensor chip in your toddler's skin has been detected slipping past the front door."
