FAIRFAX, VA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Argon ST, Inc. (NASDAQ:STST), announced that it has received an option award for an initial portion of the fifth phase of a multi-year full rate production contract to provide SSEE Increment E sensor systems to the United States Navy. This award exercises an option valued at approximately $18 million and was funded from the Global War on Terror (GWOT) supplemental budget. SSEE is the most modern and extensive communications intelligence system that is deployed on U.S. Navy surface ships.
