Turbidity Analyzer from Electro-Chemical Devices
Electro-Chemical Devices Inc.

The Triton TR8 from Electro-Chemical Devices Inc., Yorba Linda, CA, measures turbidity with a multibeam optical assembly and operates over a measurement range of 0.000–9999 formazine nephelometric units (FNU), 0.00–3000 ppm, 0.0–3.0g/l, or 0%–20%. Error rate is <5% of reading with repeatability >1% of reading. One light beam acts as a reference detector, the second light beam detects short path length for high concentrations, and the third light beam measures the longer path length for lower concentrations. Other features include a 4–20 mA output and alarm relay, up to 2 outputs, 4 SPDT relays, a configurable display, and HART communications. Applications include surface water, municipal water, and industrial water treatment.
