The SCA3060 family of digital sensors from VTI Technologies, Vantaa, Finland, are triaxial ±2 g accelerometers for industrial and automotive non-safety-critical applications, such as position sensing, navigation, and anti-theft vehicle alarms. The digital sensors have SPI or I²C interfaces, consume 150 µA in active measurement, have built-in motion detection and ring buffer memory for power and microcontroller resource management, wake-up functioning, and DFL packaging. The sensor is automotive qualified according to AEC Q100 Grade 2.
