Delivering a faster switching speed than standard devices and sporting a SO6L package with a maximum height of 2.3 mm, the TLP383 low-input current drive transistor output photocoupler is suitable for use with programmable logic controllers, a/c adaptors, and I/O interface boards. It can replace conventional DIP4 pin packaged devices. Other features include a turn-off time of 30 μs (at IF=1.6mA, VCC=5V, RL=4.7kΩ), high output infrared LEDs, an isolation voltage of 5 kVRMS minimum, a current transfer ratio (CTR) of 50% to 600% percent at IF=0.5mA / 5 mA, VCE=5V, and ab operating temperature range from -55º to 125ºC.
