Murata Power Solutions’ 782100 series transformers are designed for use with the Peregrine (pSemi) PE22100 push-pull dc/dc converter driver ICs. The combination of driver IC and transformer allows for quick implementation of an isolated dc/dc converter rated up to 1W, typically used for powering the secondary side of an isolated data interface such as RS-232, RS-485, or CAN bus.
Features include 3.3V and 5V versions, isolation to 4 kVdc, industry-standard pinouts, and an industrial temperature range of -40˚C to +85˚C. Pre-approval by pSemi eliminates the need to qualify a magnetics source when using the Peregrine IC while toroidal construction maximizes efficiency and reduces EMI.
