The 850 MEMS Tuff Tilt Series embarks as the latest addition to Jewell Instruments’ electrolytic tiltmeter line for geophysical and geotechnical applications. A weatherproof tiltmeter, it is promoted as a low-cost alternative to most sensors for the geotechnical market. Available in uniaxial and biaxial models, the sensor offers ±14.5°, ±30°, and ±90° measuring ranges that are available with a 0.002° resolution and ±5 VDC, 0-5 VDC and 4-20mA outputs.
