Thermoplastic Compounds Exhibit High Strength, Modulus And Impact Properties

Said to exceed the performance of standard chopped fiberglass polypropylene (PP) compounds, the RTP 100 series thermoplastic compounds is formulated for higher strength, modulus, and impact properties. With strength, stiffness, and impact resistance performance that are close to the company’s Very Long Fiber (VLF) compounds, combined with the lighter weight and chemical resistance of standard PP compounds, RTP 100 XP Compounds provide unique design possibilities for applications in the automotive, furniture, appliance, storage, industrial, construction, electronics, and energy markets. The compounds exhibit up to 20% higher modulus values and twice the impact resistance and are available as standard pellets in formulations containing from 10-50 weight % glass fiber reinforcement.
