Data Translation Inc., Marlboro, MA, offers the TEMPpoint temperature measurement instrument with 48 separate 24-bit inputs, each with its own ADC and cold-junction compensation, in addition to USB and Ethernet ports. The device features automatic linearization of Types B, E, J, K, N, R, S, and T thermocouples; 1000 V channel-to-channel galvanic isolation; anytime autocalibration; and ±0.01% accuracy. Throughput across all channels is up to 15 Hz/channel. The instrument also provides 8 opto-isolated digital inputs, 8 opto-isolated digital outputs, thermocouple easy connect, and software.
