TE Connectivity Named to Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index for the Fourth Consecutive Year

SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland -- TE Connectivity Ltd. has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index for the fourth consecutive year. Launched in 1999, the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Indices evaluate the sustainability performance of the largest 2,500 companies listed on the Dow Jones Global Total Stock Market Index. They are the longest-running global sustainability benchmarks worldwide and have become the key reference point in sustainability investing for investors and companies alike.

Companies are assessed and selected based on their long-term economic, social and environmental asset management plans. Selection criteria evolve each year and companies must continue to make improvements to their long-term sustainability plans in order to remain on the Index. Indexes are updated yearly and companies are monitored throughout the year.

TE Connectivity Chairman and CEO Tom Lynch stated: "Our customers want to work with a trusted partner who delivers value and is a mindful steward of the environment. Inclusion on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index North America for the fourth year in a row reinforces our employees' determination to create long-term shareholder value by embracing opportunities and managing the risks that come from economic, environmental and social developments."
