The Impulse Series continuous time-domain reflectometry (TDR) level transmitter from AMETEK Drexelbrook, Horsham, PA, provides total level, distance, or volumetric measurements. The guided-wave radar level transmitter provides continuous level measurement of liquids to ranges up to 15 m with 3 mm accuracy and provides a 2-wire, 4–20 mA HART output. The transmitter has 5 different sensor types and is constructed of 316 SS and Hastelloy C. Operating temperature range is –40°C to 200°C and process pressure range is up to 580 psig. Compact electronics come standard with an integral display and keypad for local configuration. Internal software features support measurements of level, distance, or volume.
