Take A Circuit to New Heights with KEMET High Voltage Goldmax Radial Leaded MLCCs

GREENVILLE, SC -- KEMET Corporation expands its High Voltage Goldmax Radial Leaded Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor (MLCC) product line to include a new 630 VDC rating as well as leading capacitance values. Rated for use in temperatures ranging from -55 to +125 degrees Celsius and available in both COG and X7R dielectric, High Voltage Goldmax Radial Leaded MLCCs feature KEMET's advanced ceramic technology in one of the world's most versatile form factors.

"KEMET's Radial Leaded MLCCs are versatile and highly robust capacitance solutions that are well-suited for a variety of applications," said Rogelio Gonzalez, KEMET Operations Manager. "The key feature is the wire lead termination system, which ensures extraordinary mechanical robustness in harsh and high vibration environments."

Leaded MLCCs are often a preferred solution in application environments that promote printed circuit board (PCB) or component failure. They can be weld- or crimp-mounted, eliminating the need for a PCB, resulting in both space and cost savings. In addition, radial leaded capacitors are non-polar and can be easily integrated into an existing circuit.

High Voltage Goldmax capacitors are designed for a variety of applications such as power supplies, automotive keyless entry, temperature sensors, LED lighting and electric motors.
