Now in mass production, the SKTG Series side push tact switch is highly suitable for embedding in smartphones and other mobile devices. The component is designed for mounting into a PC cut-out. It has a lower profile than existing SKTD Series switches, achieving a switch height above the PC board of 0.85 mm, around 45% smaller than the existing model. Other features include an operating life of 200,000 cycles, dimensions of 3.7 mm × 3.5mm, IP67-level dust and water resistance, an operating force of 1.6 N, travel of 0.15 mm, operating life of 200,000 cycles, maximum electrical rating of 12 Vdc at 50 mA, and an initial contact resistance 500 mΩ maximum.
