Synapse Wireless & Plexus Controls Team Up To Bring Industrial Wireless Monitoring To Sensors Expo 2016

San Jose, CA --- Huntsville, AL-based Synapse Wireless, an Internet of Things company, will be exhibiting and speaking at the Sensors Expo, to be held June 21-23 at the McEnery Convention Center. Sensors Expo, celebrating its 31st year, is the nation’s largest and most comprehensive educational program focused around the adoption and use of sensor technology. The event consists of over 300 exhibitors and more than 65 technical sessions covering nine different tracks to include Measurement & Detection, Internet of Things (IoT), Embedded Systems Design, Novel Sensor Applications, Energy Harvesting and more.

Synapse, who’s developed the Platform for Things called SNAP®, will lend their expertise to this event and showcase an onsite demonstration in collaboration with their customer, Plexus Controls. Plexus Controls is a Canadian-owned designer and manufacturer of industrial wireless monitoring and control products including solar and battery powered mesh systems. Leveraging SNAP’s simple, yet robust development platform enables Plexus to offer smart technologies to the commercial and industrial markets. Their solutions provide industries faced with more stringent environmental requirements to have affordable and reliable tools to conduct the necessary monitoring and management of their local and remote sites for regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

“Developing our monitoring solutions using SNAP as a foundation has provided our customers the ability to keep costs down by integrating wireless control seamlessly into their existing infrastructure and provide them with real-time data which helps to eliminate unexpected system failures. The flexibility of SNAP is ideal for complex environments where other development platforms tend to fall short – which gives us the feature set and capabilities we are looking for.” Said Bill Cuming, President & CEO, Plexus Controls.

Synapse is providing a first-hand opportunity to learn more about the SNAP development platform by offering an introductory price on their new Evaluation Kit, the EK2100-220, which has just been released. The kit provides users a simple demonstration on how wireless connectivity can be incorporated into just about any type of application.

The EK2100-220 will be showcased on site and is now available for purchase at http://bit.ly/1UglC74

Synapse and Plexus will be exhibiting in booth 1240 at next weeks’ event. David Ewing, Synapse’s Chief Technology Officer, will be giving a hands-on demonstration on how to seamlessly develop an IoT application using a mesh network, from device to Cloud. The session will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 1:50-2:30pm EST in the Executive Ballroom H. To learn more about the Sensors Expo, visit http://www.sensorsexpo.com
