Christmas trees) in offshore oil drilling applications. The term “Christmas tree” refers to the assembly of valves, sensors and controllers and other equipment placed over a wellhead, which resembles a decorated tree. In addition to complying with the CANopen regulation, the sensors are encased in Inconel 625 to withstand deep-sea environments with pressures up to 5,000 psi.
