The KTU8000CS from Sensortechnics Inc., Walpole, MA, is a submersible pressure transmitter that provides hydrostatic level measurement for pressure ranges from 5 psi F.S. Features include 24 mm o.d., temperature-compensated transmitters, 4–20 mA output, a vent tube to compensate for barometric pressure influences on the liquid level, ceramic pressure cells, and glass-reinforced PPS plastic housings. Custom mechanical or electronic sensor modifications are available. Applications include water level measurement, level control of tanks, and level measurement and control of liquid supplies.
