Baumer’s DST55R strain sensors feature a long-term seal that enables a cost-effective solution for measurement chores in tough outdoor conditions. The sensors employ category C5-M corrosion-resistant materials, an IP69K protection rated seal, the company’s proTect+ impermeability concept, a CANopen interface, and specifies an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. They are particularly suitable for industrial applications such as mobile automation.
The strain sensors are based on DMS technology. They are available with integrated electronics and options for a voltage output or a CANopen interface.
