The LT8335 current mode, 2-MHz step-up DC/DC converter integrates a 2A/28V switch and operates from an input voltage range of 3V to 25V. In Burst Mode operation, the device reduces quiescent current to 6 µA while keeping output ripple below 15 mVP-P. The 170-mΩ switch delivers efficiencies over 90% while programmable undervoltage lockout (UVLO) optimizes system performance. A single feedback resistor sets the output voltage whether the output is positive or negative. Other features include internal compensation, soft-start, frequency foldback, and thermal shutdown protection. The LT8335EDDB is available in a 3 mm x 2 mm DFN-8 package.
