The OM-CP-STATE101A from Omega Engineering Inc., Stamford, CT, senses input transitions or contact closures from transducers and/or state initiators, recording the time and input state of the device when a transition occurs. The logger interfaces to contact closures or TTL inputs to 30 V and, once activated, senses and records the transition or state changes at the input. Features include a 10 yr. battery life, 4 Hz reading rate, multiple stop/start function, USB interface, optional memory wrap, solid-state memory with capacity for 406,323 readings, battery life indicator, and optional password protection. Input range is 0–30 V, input low is <0.4 V, and input high is >2.8 V.
