SSIR LVDT Position Transmitters Withstand High Pressure Washdown and Contaminants
TE Connectivity

The SSIR 937 Series submersible LVDT position transmitters handle blade-position measurement applications within sawmills and wood products processing plants. In addition to performing accurately amid flying sawdust and chunks of wood as well as fluctuating temperatures, these LVDT position sensors can withstand high levels of vibrations that occur during a cut and severe shocks caused by heavy logs being dropped into carriers. They reside in a corrosion-resistant Inconel housing and offer a less than ±0.1% non-linearity and repeatability to 0.01% full range or better. Other features include a 5,000 psi operating pressure (7,500 psi proof) in excess of 1 million hours Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and temperatures from -30°C to +80°C.
