Debuting as the smallest (5.0×5.0×4.2mm) squared Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) with a 5kA surge capability and a ≤0.7pF off-state capacitance value available on the market today, the SH Series GDT is designed to provide high levels of protection against fast-rising transients caused by lightning disturbances. Its low off-state capacitance is compatible with high bandwidth applications and this capacitance loading value does not vary if the signal voltage across the GDT changes.
