Ocean Optics expands its Spark spectral sensor range with the detector-only Spark-DET-VIS. This sensor-only version weighs less than 1g, reportedly making it the smallest spectral device on the market. It delivers full spectral measurements over the visible wavelength range of 380 nm to 700 nm and measures simple absorbance, fluorescence, and emissive color. Additionally, the device requires custom electronics and complete integration. A USB version is available for initial application development.
