The ACCUSOLVE advanced diesel particulate filter (DPF) soot sensor from GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies, Billerica, MA, provides real-time soot loading data to enable reduced emissions and improved efficiency of internal combustion engines and after treatment systems. The device uses RF technology to accurately measure DPF soot loadings, providing better than 10% F.S. accuracy. The sensor has an operating temperature range of –40°C to 900°C and its electronics are rated for operation up to 85°C.
