(MTI) Ltd., Mystic, CT, offers the TBS-101 sonar preamplifier/signal conditioner that provides all the analog signal conditioning functions required between a sonar hydrophone and an ADC. The device incorporates a low-noise preamplifier, step-gain amplifier, anti-alias filter, and a calibration/test signal generator. The device lets the sonar system designer use a range of piezoelectric sensors and achieve very low system noise.
