The harmonization effort has been underway by the SMRP Best Practices Committee and EFNMS Benchmarking Committee for the past three years, and resulted in publication of the first edition of the "Global Maintenance and Reliability Indicators" at Euromaintenance 2008. These indicators are also used in international benchmarking workshops sponsored by the EFNMS.
Two track sessions at SMRP's annual conference in St. Louis, Missouri, USA on October 19–23, 2009 will be offered on maintenance and reliability indicators; one track session will focus on the entire set of SMRP metrics and another will focus on those metrics that have been harmonized to the European standard. Additionally, a full day workshop will be offered on the final day of the conference on the application of the SMRP metrics. Inquiries can be directed to Al Poling, SMRP Technical Director at +1 (832) 295-3009 or at [email protected].
