The TX200H from United Electric Controls, Watertown, MA, is a HART smart pressure transmitter designed for upstream oil and gas applications. Features include a flexible 10:1 turndown on pressure ranges from 0–15 psi up to 0–25,000 psi, real-time diagnostics, simplified field adjustment, HART 7 communication, 316 SS construction to meet 4X and IP66 requirements, and cULus for Class 1, Div. 1 and 2, Zone 1 and ATEX Ex d and Ex tD hazardous area approvals. The device can use existing wiring as an upgraded, drop-in replacement for a standard analog 4–20 mA transmitter.
