Smart Lighting System from Libelium

Libelium

Libelium, Zaragoza, Spain, and Redwood City, CA, offers a Smart Lighting solution for Smart Cities deployments that is based on the company's Waspmote Plug & Sense! wireless sensor network platform. The Smart Lighting device measures ambient light with directional sensor probes, includes temperature and humidity sensors, and can monitor conditions in buildings and tunnels or outside. The single-chip sensor can measure light intensity from 0.1–40,000 lux and combines a broadband photodiode for visible and IR light and an IR-responding photodiode to provide a near-photopic response over an effective 20-bit dynamic range and 16-bit resolution.
