The MAX11043 from Maxim Integrated Products, Sunnyvale, CA, is a quad, 16-bit simultaneous-sampling ADC for sensor applications. Designed for continuous wave chirp radar systems, the device provides conditioning and digitization of IF signals from a 24 GHz or 77 GHz radar front-end for a DSP or microprocessor. The device integrates four discrete analog filters, 4 high-precision simultaneous sampling ADCs, and a 12-bit control DAC in a 6 by 6 mm package. A filter block and PGA on each of the 4 channels allow you to customize the signal path of each ADC and configure it individually.
