The Model 4850 from Calex Mfg. Co. Inc., Concord, CA, is a 4-channel DC-powered signal conditioner for load cells, strain gauges, or single-ended analog inputs and that consists of 4 amplifier channels and an adjustable excitation supply. The excitation supply can drive four 350 ohm bridges and is adjustable from 5–10 VDC. Each channel contains a precision instrumentation amplifier with individual zero and span adjustments and a filtered 0–10 VDC output. Input range is 0–30 mV.
