Wilcoxon Research, Germantown, MD, offers the 787F low-profile accelerometer with an integral cable. Features include 100 mV/g sensitivity, 80 g peak acceleration range, 1% amplitude nonlinearity, 1.0–5000 Hz frequency response ±10% and 0.7–10,000 Hz (±3 dB), a permanent Viton boot, Teflon-jacketed cable, fully-welded construction, and hermetic sealing. Operating temperature range is –50°C to 120°C. The sensor is protected against ESD and EMI/RFI and is suited for condition-based monitoring and predictive maintenance programs where the device is mounted to machinery in a wet, dirty, or harsh environment or at an inaccessible location.
