The Series LSU61X from Stellar Technology Inc., Amherst, NY, is a short-stroke precision LVDT for applications where dynamic measurement is needed but space is limited. The DC/DC displacement sensor covers a stroke from ±0.10 in. to ±0.40 in., generates a ±5 VDC output, includes filtering electronics and an internal amplifier, provides ±0.5% linearity, and operates from unregulated 24–40 VDC supplies or dual ±12 VDC to ±20 VDC supplies. Linearities of ±0.25% or ±0.10% are optional. Sensors ship with traceable calibration certificates.
