The Endevco Model 7265A Series low-mass piezoresistive shock accelerometer from Meggitt Sensing Systems, San Juan Capistrano, CA, weighs 6 g and is designed for low-frequency shock measurement for aircraft flutter testing, biomedical motion studies, road load DA, and other applications that require minimal mass loading and a broad frequency response. Two versions are available: the Model 7265A with a 5 mV/g sensitivity and a 100 g F.S. range and the Model 7265A-HS with a sensitivity up to 25 mV/g and a 20 g F.S. range. The sensors incorporate two MEMS gauges in a full active bridge circuit configuration with 2 fixed resistors for shunt calibration. Other features include viscous damping and integral mechanical stops. Output is a 500 mV F.S. low-impedance signal with 10 VDC excitation.
