SESD Devices Defeat Complex ESD And Surges
TE Connectivity

Addressing the growing complexities of electrostatic discharge (ESD) and surge protection, TE Connectivity’s latest family of silicon ESD (SESD) devices specify ±20-kV and ±22-kV air discharge ratings. According to the company, these specs exceed the IEC’s 8kV contact and 15kV air discharge standards. The components come in both uni- and bi-directional configurations and with one, two, or four channels. They are available in 0201and 0402 sizes and standard flow-through packages. In addition, the devices’ surge capabilities are 2.2A for four-channel and 2.5A for one-and two-channel devices. For more details, visit http://www.te.com/catalog/products/en?q=SESD
