When we are knee-deep in automation and artificial intelligence driven applications, more devices are operating in applications where they need to be in different location to perform certain tasks. The ability for the device to know where it is, would be the first step of knowing where it needs to go to perform a dedicated task.

Coming from Daimler Chrysler, Rainer Hach joined Nanotron Technologies in 1998 and participated in the fundamental development of technologies and patents. He has a profound knowledge of digital signal processing and system design and is the technical editor for IEEE and ISO standards governing Nanotron products. He holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Technical University Berlin, Germany.
