Sensors Expo 2018: Distributor Offers Diverse Sensor Solutions

Rutronik Inc., a global broad-line stocking distributor with a comprehensive portfolio of products and technology solutions for IoT and embedded systems, is attending and exhibiting at the 2018 Sensors Expo and Conference, scheduled for June 26–28 in San Jose, California.

“The Sensors Expo is one of the leading conferences for showcasing and learning about new sensor trends, products, and solutions,” said Sean Sisson, Rutronik vice president North America. “We look forward to both showcasing our suppliers’ wide range of sensing technologies for the automotive, industrial, and medical markets, as well as introducing Rutronik’s inventory management services, suppliers, and engineering support services to other businesses and companies in the sensor industry.”

Recognized as the sensor industry’s largest event in North America, this year’s Sensors Expo is expected to draw more than 6,500 attendees, over 100 speakers, and 300+ exhibitors for three days of workshops, keynote speakers, technical sessions, and networking events covering a wide range of topics, including: MEMS and sensors, energy harvesting and power management, IoT and wire, optical sensing and detection, and much more.

Exhibiting at Booth #1631, Rutronik’s focus areas at the 2018 Sensors Expo include:

  • Automotive – Rutronik has a comprehensive range of sensors for the automotive industry from leading component suppliers for connected vehicles, eMobility applications, as well as drive train, chassis & safety systems. As the leading automotive distributor in Europe, Rutronik has an experienced automotive application engineering team.
  • Industrial – Rutronik’s wide range of sensors for embedded computing, wireless networks, and secure data storage systems are ideal for industrial IoT applications, as well as bundled component solutions, including selected sensors, microcontrollers, power management, and security solutions for the IoT.
  • Medical – Rutronik’s partners in medical electronics have proven technology and high-quality components that are consistently available. Rutronik offers solutions that minimize the long development times and high procurement costs that can make it difficult to design and manufacture advance medical systems.
  • Rutronik will also sponsor a drawing for a chance to win a special edition FitBit Versa with wireless headphones.

Sission added that this year’s Sensors Expo is timely, considering Rutronik recently opened a new location in Santa Clara as part of an ongoing sales network expansion in the U.S. A new office also opened near Boston, Massachusetts.

The Sensors Expo exhibit floor will be open Wednesday, June 27, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; and Thursday, June 28, from 10 a.m.– 4 p.m. Please visit the Sensors Expo 2018 website to register.
