Touted as the first low-power 1080p HD PureCel(R) image sensor for battery-powered security applications, the OV2732 is viable for residential and commercial monitoring systems. The device employs high dynamic range (HDR) technology to produce clear images and video even when recording in high- or low-light environments. Features include frame sync for use in multi-camera or 360-degree camera systems, ultra-low power mode detection and ambient light sensor (ALS), and staggered HDR. Specifications include full 1080p HD at 60 fps, 720p HD video at 90 fps, VGA resolution video at 120 fps, and 1900 mV/lux-sec light sensitivity.
