The SiFlex SF2006SN.A from Colibrys, Neuchâtel, Switzerland, is a single-axis MEMS capacitive accelerometer designed for strong motion structure monitoring applications that require extremely low noise measurements. The device has ±5 g linear acceleration range, 0.8 V/g sensitivity at ±5 g, a 110 dB dynamic range, DC to 1000 Hz frequency response, and 0.9 µgrms/√Hz noise. The Class B analog servo accelerometer consumes 12 mA at ±6V, can withstand shock to 1500 g, and has an operating temperature range of –40°C to 85°C. Applications include building monitoring, industrial and process control, or structure monitoring.
