Secure Microcontroller Delivers Advanced Cryptography

Groomed for security-sensitive industrial, consumer, computing and internet of things (IoT) devices, the MAX32558 is the latest member of the DeepCover family of secure microcontrollers (MCUs) from Maxim Integrated Products. The device offers robust security features while saving up to 50% of printed circuit board (PCB) space.

The MAX32558 integrates several security features into a small package, including secure key storage, a secure bootloader, active tamper detection and secure cryptographic engines. It also supports multiple communications channels such as USB, serial peripheral interface (SPI), universal asynchronous receiver-transmitter (UART) and I2C.

The MAX32558 is available for $3.80 each/1,000. For more details and specs, get a hold of the MAX32558 datasheet.
