SCR Thyristor Handles 600V/40 ARMS And +150°C Junction Temperature

The SJxx40x Series is the first SCR thyristor from Littelfuse capable of handling 600V, 40 Arms, and junction temperatures up to +150°C. The devices are designed to prevent the overheating and thermal runaway problems SCRs can experience due to an application’s limited cooling capability or occasional overload situation. They are designed to trigger with just a few milliamps of current at less than 1.5V potential. Typical applications include rectifiers in a variety of end uses including AC solid-state switches, industrial power tools, exercise equipment, white goods, and commercial appliances. They are available in both TO-220AB and TO-263 packages. Additional information is available at and a datasheet is available at
