Schottky Barrier Diodes Minimize Supply Loss

Schottky Barrier Diodes Minimize Supply Loss
Allegro MicroSystems Inc.

Embarking as the next generation of silicon carbide Schottky barrier diodes, the FMCA series achieves low leakage current and promises to reduce power-supply losses that result from the recovery current. Features include a 650V breakdown voltage in a Schottky barrier configuration, making it suitable for continuous current mode PFC circuits. The FMCA series is available in a TO-220F package. Prices for the FMCA-11065 and FMCA-22065 are $4 and $6.50 each/1,000, respectively. Datasheets are available at http://www.semicon.sanken-ele.co.jp/sk_content/fmca-11065_ds_en.pdf and http://www.semicon.sanken-ele.co.jp/sk_content/fmca-22065_ds_en.pdf
