Features include a flange and splined-shaft design that conforms to AND 10262 and 20002, high torsional stiffness, low rotating inertia, several measurement ranges, speeds up to 27,000 rpm, an optional pickup to provide an output proportional to speed, and an optional K Type thermocouple to monitor internal bearing temperature. Applications include torque studies on aircraft turbine engine air starters and automotive applications.
